    Hi Pedro.
Thanks for the nice words and for the book recommendation.
Instead, the book that I'm reading is "Rebels and Redcoats: The American Revolution Through British Eyes" by Christopher Hibbert.

    Hi Ian,
I don't use wood Dowling for the log cabin.
I used some twigs of lime wood found in the home garden.
I prefer these because the cabin was built with the trunks taken from the woods of Valley Forge.
IMHO The wood Dowling is too precise and regular to rappresent trunks cabin in 1777.
But you can still use it. The width of the twigs that I used is 0.5 cm.
One of my future AWI projects is a figure that you produce.
    It can be seen here:

    Hi Maco,
I already have the master for the second figure. It is a drummer boy sitting on his drum - cold and weary. And, when I say boy, I mean a boy not a man. Mike did a fantastic job capturing the body structure and body positioning associated with that of a boy. I will 'productionize' it in the coming months and will post here on PF when it is ready. I have already sent a casting to Mike for box art painting - unfortunately not in time enough for WE. But, Mike says he will have it painted for Chicago. For the third figure Mike is planning an officer. So, there will be a variety of heights and a variety of uniforms, etc in the three figure vignette.

    Good job!
Well painted and presented... loads of atmosphere! The log cabin was a great idea and really gives the figure context as to "time and place".

Look forward to your next project

    That really is quite stunning.
Brilliant work on the base and logs.
You've managed to capture a lot of emotion in this piece in which everything goes together great.
I like the green scarf blowing in the wind also a very nice touch.
    Thanks for showing,
