Here is my latest figure. It's the classic Andrea WWI infantry figure in 90MM. I've had this figure primed and ready to go on my bench for about 6 years but for some reason never got around to painting him until now. Figures is painted in Vallejo acrylics and Citadel acrylics for the metalics.

Beautiful paintjob Dan! You really developed your own style and even without your name in the accompanying text I would have recognized the piece as your work.
As sidenote on the figure: The red numbers on the cloth cover of the spiked helmet indicate an infantryman of the early stages of the Great War. For obvious reasons they disappeared very soon after the war had started. Nevertheless the figure is equipped already with the gas mask canister. Andrea did this with the option of the second (late war) helmet in mind but better should have produced the strap for the canister as a separate piece as well so that you can more easily leave it off for the early war-version.
    Whatever - well done, Dan(y)!
    All the best!

yea agreed Martin. A friend of mine made me aware of that not too long ago. I had intended to change out the pickelhaube helmet for the stahlhelm but the gap of 6-7 years between assembly and paint, I lost the stahlhelm. Thanks for your input as always.

I don't know Rod. Just one of those things where I constantly got involved with another project. Glad I was able to finally complete it though. Thanks.
