    Hi Guys,

I'd like to present a new and very special figure. This October, the Military Miniature Society of Illinois (MMSI) will host their 40th Chicago Show. To mark this milestone, the club commissioned Alan Ball to sculpt an anniversary figure for the show. The figure is 75mm, and represents (with very minor and easy modifications) either a US Zouave Cadet or a Zouave of the 19th Illinois. Casting is done by Bob Stein, and box-art by me. This figure will be available for purchase at the upcoming show. I painted mine as a Zouave of the 19th Illinois. Thanks for looking!

Outstanding paintjob as usual. I can't make to the show, so I am going to have figure out a way to get my hands on one of these.

I agree, an excellent figure and excellent paint. Will there be a way to get one if not attending the show?

When you get to the border, just tell them you're going to the Chicago Show and they'll waive the passport requirement. :p
Seriously, you have to see Jason's work in person. The transitions are beyond the eyesight.:wideyed: Also, the First Division Museum is only a half hour from the Show. It was Col. McCormicks dream as he served with them in WW1.

Bob - thanks. I know I have said it before but I really am intending to come this year. Lynne has made arrangements to visit a friend so if I bail I incur the wrath of SWMBO.
