Thank you Gary you are too kind,
I try my best when I'm in the mood but the Milliput does not always go where I want it to.
    All the very best,

Keith - I must apologise, in the rush to post on this thread earlier today I forgot to say how much I liked your conversion of Napoleon. The Gericault inspired Chassuer is also a great piece too - very clever work.
Such a shame that Airfix don't produce these historical personalities any longer as they were really good starter kits to get younger modellers into the hobby. Have fond memories of my own doing them - the Black Prince and Richard the Lionheart were favourites and the words 'gloss enamel bearskin' may evoke a mental picture or two! Also as you illustrate they have potential to make up into nice figures when painted with a bit more experience too but pity they are becoming rare and precious. Come on Airfix rerelease these.
    Cheers

    No apology needed Mat.

Thank you for your kind words Mate. I am very happy that everyone is so positive about these vintage kits and are offering up so many memories of their own. Ah well back to to today...I am way out of my comfort zone with my next piece. So its head down for a good few weeks with research and sculpting. Don't you just love this hobby and the guys that you hear from.

    Cheers, Keith

I picked up their Henry VIII as a gift for a friend who is obsessed with Tudor History. After giving it the nice over I decided to go with Andrea's 54mm version, but the airfix was good for its time.

    Hi Colin.

I can understand that. The later casts were very 'rounded' where the molds needed redressing. Not the best tool making job in the world.

    Cheers, Keith
