Very well done! I like alot.
Was the holster for the .45 canvas or leather?

    Hi Edward,
The holster really ought to be black leather and the knife sheath a natural leather. Keep in mind that troops would modify their gear, and I've seen knife sheaths dyed black. Not to mention that that's what i did with the one I carried :). Nonetheless, you have done another beautiful piece (y)!

Bootiful, really bootiful. That apparently 'easy' olive drab is usually anything but.

How did you find doing the black skin tones, I recall you saying you'd never done them before...

    Good work Edward.
The flesh tones that you have chosen are right on the money.
    Like it a lot,

Thanks! The flesh tones were ok actually. The uniform was harder. Not sure I have got the right shades of green..

For the uniform I used Andrea Olive Green, Vallejo German Camo Dark Green and white. For the flak vest and equipment I used Olive Green and Vallejo English Uniform.

Brilliant job Edward, I agree that you need to change the sheath and holster colours but a brilliant job nonetheless.

    Hello Edward,
Really Very Good painting. Right places for Shadows and Highlights!! If I may to do some comments...
I would like to see some dirt and dust in the boots, pants ( lowers parts and knees) and in the elbows. A sling for the excellent painted M79 grenade launcher depicting the movement will be a good adding. The black flesh is one of the best I have seen in 1/35 scale!! An SBS for that will be very useful. And for my liking I would prefer a more matt finish for the uniform (but this maybe is a photo problem??).

    All the best

Thanks a lot Stelios! The flesh was simply Andrea dark brown with black and white added! Adding a sling is a good idea - something to think about.. As for the dirt and dust, I did add some brown tones to the boots, trousers and elbows - maybe I will add some more though. There is a very slight sheen with acrylics but it looks more matt in real life.
