Decent portrait of Tom Hanks well up to Young's standard quality. Wasn't there already a similar SPR bust on the market?

Colin, that one is long gone and very hard to find. This is as you say a decent portrait. I know I want one. Not sure about the boxart, but that is just my opinion.

Really like this figure nothing to so with the fact that my Mrs goes all ga ga over him ,so that means I will be able to get it lol

Light area on forehead no doubt due to helmet line and sun better than I could paint it lol image.jpg

Nice bust but just an OK likeness, the box art may be a little to blame. I'm now spoiled by Nuts Planet and Life Miniatures when it comes to figure likenesses.

Could it be sold with two heads? I would use the other one to make a Forrest Gump :D

Recognisable likeness but neck and shoulders oversized in my opinion. Guess thats the 'Young' style. Nice subject though.

Сходства есть, несомненно, хорошая работа ... шея большой ... neckerchief.....но мы можем это исправить. Мне нравится .....

Yep, now that its been mentioned, I think the thick neck makes the head look a little too short/fat. A thinner neck will definitely help.

Good likeness of Tom Hanks. Personally, I'd like the option of a helmet, but I'm not complaining.

Totally agree the option of the helmet would be a great inclusion

Good point Monty and tony had not thaought of that even though I mentioned that the lightness on the forehead looks like farmers suntan from wearing a helmet it would have been a very good addition to the figure
    Cheers Chris

I love this one like others Young busts but I also think the neck is oversized.
Also I would prefer an option with helmet.
