And I thought my bench was bad. I usually have two or three projects on the go. Mind you I have to share my bench with the computer and the cat!!

    Les ,

Tidy up first would be my starting point ..then a strong coffee , lock the door after putting a cat flap in so the good lady can push food through ...come out at Christmas !!!!!!

Why not go for the nearly completed ones first (that Landsnecht bust for instance??)

Great WIP's all over the place ..I have 5 completed ones that need basing ..looking in my GA just gets me starting another !!!!!

Enjoy the process ...oh and of course don't buy anything else (send me all your busts if that will help!!!)

Les, it's great to see that the obligatory cup of tea/coffee has pride of place on your workbench!

As I said, you think you have problems. I don't even have much room for a cup of tea.

... and in the end you wind up not doing any of them because you just can't decide which one to chuck some paint at, so instead you read a book / watch TV / take the dog for a walk / got to the pub / take the Mrs out for a meal / cut the grass etc.

Yes - I can relate to that. Been there many times and I've got the T-shirt. And I would wager I'm not alone!

We do have a cat but she steers clear of the room. I actually hid a few other wip's

Great advice, will have a tidy up and select maybe 2 projects to finish, as for sending you my bust's, this would only make me buy more lol..

Mark, many coffee's are drunk in an evenings modelling, when the weather's warm a few beers may emerge...

    Hi Les,
A cup of coffee first mate, then square away and tackle the project that inspires you at that moment. You have shamed me with such a neat bench I have just tidied up and squared away myself(y)
    cheers

I only ever work on one model at a time,I usually give myself 2 week's to finish unless it is a bigger project

Les, I'd start up a pub style raffle ....Put the name of every unfinished piece into a hat and have an independent observer ( your elderly neighbour, an unsuspecting visitor, that bloke you always recognise but just nod to) and strictly stick to that order of completion.......that's all I can suggest..it's hard I know.

Yes, I am curious to see what other people are doing.
I do have a few pieces unfinished and always feel a bit "guilty", until I see this thread.
As a matter of fact, my wife just asked me yesterday, when I am going to finish the one I stopped 2 months ago :p
    Les's bench is pretty tidy.

I'm jealous of your work spaces, I'm stuck in a cramped corner of my spare room using half a small table. Untidy or otherwise, I'd love a space like these to work in. I think I need to treat myself to a shed this summer ;)

    Cheers,

Les, you must have some extra lighting besides that fluorescent tube over your bench?

I can't see what the problem is Les. Perhaps you need some more Life Miniatures busts.

Since moving house I have now been relegated to a desk in the hall which always seems to be piled up with boxes and no where to paint:confused: Kits are stored in another room on shelving and anything not on a shelf is stored in boxes in the loft along with all the part started figures (n)
