Completed Frogman Vietnam

    Its Young's Navy Seal Vietnam. Fun one to do- all acrylics. I hope you enjoy it-

    Yes, they are Arms Corp. The decals on the radio set are part of that too.

    Well, not a silly question at all. I base coated the figure with flat black. Then I added large swaths of tannish color. Then the green was added. I then added the smaller patches of brown. I had to constantly go back and adjust and add tan, green or black. I did add highlights with lightened black and green. When I was satisfied with the colors and layout, I gave the camo area a wash of lightened flat black. Last step was a coat of Testors Dullcoat shot thru the airbrush.

    The face paint was diluted acrylic applied in thin layers. That's after I painted the face as if it would not have camo. My first attempt was not to my liking, so I stripped it and started over. :(

    For both the uniform and face I downloaded pictures for reference which really helped.
