    Hello Friends of PF,

I have finished this awesome bust from Yury yesterday evening.
Fiddelling around with the camera, but this is the best I can get.
When you are all satisfied, I can call this finished.
It is as usual done with oils and printersinkt.

Nice work Marc. He's got quite an intense stare, that's not a criticism just an observation and adds feeling to what is just a head and shoulders piece.

    Thanks Roger,
Somebody told me that on the club. He advised to do next time a half iris and pupil instead of a complete one.

Like Rog I too like that stare gives an air to the figure rather than a bland finish (y) Nice job all around I'd say

Another great piece of work Marc. I like the intense expression and the nice balance of shade, leaning towards the 'dark' but not taking it too far.
    Very impressive.

This piece is really well done ! .. Great expression, as others have said! .. But if I may just highlight one aspect, the bear skin looks a little Mono-tone! more so around the the snout, and the transition into the fur and the colouring of fur itself!.. Purely an observation. ;):)

    See, Brown /Black/ Grizzly ! ... 35365619_BrownBear.jpg . black-bear.jpg . grizzly bear (3).JPG .

On the pictures you are right. In reality he has more of the brown bear, and to be precise he has 3 differen colors brown. I couldn't get the colors in the pictures right. They seems to wash out.
If you click on the pictures you can blow them up. Then you see alot more colors then on the small one's,

What’s the Roman equivalent of the “thousand-yard stare”? Whatever it is, this guy has it!

    Lovely work.
