    Hi All,

This is the 54mm vignette by Andrea Miniatures ,depicting a WW1 german trench with soldiers wearing gas masks ready to assault.I did very few modifications as I believe this is a very detailed kit.
I am looking forward for your feedback!

Looks dismal...just as it should. Very atmospheric and evocative. Congratulations.

    Thank you !
I have all the WW1 vignettes by Andrea (even the Fokker Dr.I) and i can assure you that they are very well detailed.
I think this must be the 10nth (!!!) trench diorama that I 've finished.

Your results are superb(y) What would be really neat is if you could find someone with a fog machine, (Halloween) or someone who smokes, and blow a cloud of smoke over the scene while you take a photo.

Great work! Did the barbed wire come with the kit? If not, how did you manage to make it? The barbed wire is very convincing and would be difficult in 54mm, so again, very well done.

Thank you all for these positive reviews!
Regarding the barb wire , I am not absolutely sure where I got it but for sure I did not make it myself.
Probably it is from Scale link and I acquired a lot of it since it is not easy to find something decent in the market.
For those who are interested just have in mind that German and British/ french ones had different designs......

It's a 90mm from Superior Model , sculpted by Ray Lamb ( USA not UK), I painted in 1975, in Humbrol and oils

Yes small diorama on a narrow base' and not 10cm high
This intensify the dramatic effect, the focus is on the subject and not arround it.
    Again it's great

It's true what you are saying because the eye focuses where it should and not on the surrounding environment.
This is the good thing with 54mm vignettes although my favorite scale is 1/16.
I ve done some at 200mm ( single figures) but the scale is so big that you can't differentiate the figure.....
