    Hi all,
It's been a while since I painted anything, so I decided to try and rekindle the interest with a redo of the first bust I ever painted. I haven't painted over the original, I bought a new figure. I'm still having a rough time with blending skin tones and trying to get the eyes sorted but here is where I'm up to... still a long way to go.
Feel free to comment or critique.

    Thanks,
    Andrew.

Nice job so far. If you still have your first effort, a comparison of the two will provide a pretty accurate view of the progress of your skills.

    Hi Andrew,

Having just painted this bust a few months ago, I can tell you're making very good progress with the flesh tones and the leather. As Colin said, it would be good to see you post a pic of both examples side by side so we could see a comparison between the two

So I finally got round to putting the first attempt with the latest attempt, the photos are terrible but when I finish the paint job I'll take proper ones.

Even though the pic quality is not good, it's quite clear how much your skills have raised. You couldn't have choosen a better bust to do this exercise..
