Painted up this giant 200mm figure by Maurice Corry. It was quite a chore since I have the attention span of a moth. All acrylics, comments welcome. Sorry about the poor photography :)[IMG]

    Camo looks great mate.
Also like the weapons and overall tone.
He is a giant and is an absolute gem to paint.
You've done a cracking job there.

I like this a lot great job on the weapons and body armour. The 3 tone cammo looks a little out of scale the brown tone to my eye should be bigger, did you copy a uniform item? Here's what I mean:

If you look at a number of different pictures of this type of uniform, you will see differences. I think due to the number of times washed, not washed, the type of dirt or soil they have been in it will change the color of the uniform.

You did an accurate version. I wore this uniform quite a few years back and mine were all pretty faded; some had the slight pink tone to the sand base color, a couple pairs were more towards the off-white side. Nicely done bro!

That's a fantastic paint! And thanks for sharing. I can now use yours as a template for my own when I come to tackle it, although if mine turns out half as good I'll be a happy camper.

Very nice, I like it a lot.

As for the browns, I think Jimmy was talking about the size of brown patches, not their color. And I have to agree, they should have been a bit bigger. But nevertheless, an amazing job altogether.

Yes, it's a big figure, I have it, but not sure if I can tackle it due to its size, you have done a brilliant job on yours.
