Here is my rendition of the Bishop of Strasbourg. Interesting kit. Virtually no reference material. Fun with paint to do the helm. I'll stick to Germans........
For in-progress, refer to my earlier thread.

    I hope you like it-

    Matt

Brilliant painting, and very nice treatment of the helm and chain mail.
    Great work!

Very well painted. This is definately not my period, but you inspire me to maybe have a go at a medieval figure.

This is very nice indeed, but why the need for a copyright and does that not cost a bit of money:)

Probably to stop the likes of me cheating and claiming I painted it :sneaky: Of course the fact it's a decent pic is in fact a dead give away

Recasters have passed off Matt's work as their own.

That is the reason for the copyright in the photos.

How do you recast a paint job?

I process the photos in Lightroom, and for some reason the watermark was there, I left it alone as Matt said, the Chinese use my photos to sell pirate stuff on ebay. I guess they could photoshop it off, but I left it on...

    Thanks for the comments! Matt

    Matt,
Didn't want to take away from your beautiful paint job thread but when the other Matt threw that out there, I was curious what he meant. I don't understand why they would grab your photos instead of the regular box art but who knows how unscrupulous people think anyway. Will talk more in Chicago.
