Rompy, porkrad, Ferris, thnaks for comments.

Binocular done. compare with other products. From left to right, Verlinden's, Alpine's, and my original. I did a different model.

40-45 048.jpg Hello Kaz, You are right about officers not wearing the feldgendarmerie gorget. It seems the majority who wore it were nco's and below. I found this photo, which made me think of your officer figure. I've never seen an actual wartime photo of officers wearing the gorget, but it is still possible. Anyway, I like the addition of the bino's, its a better choice, and they look fantastic. This set is turning into a true work of art Kaz, I'm enjoying seeing it all come together. Regards, SG:happy:

    Kaz,
Do me a favor, mold the binocular straps attached to the binoculars, not the figure (or leave them off, to be added from paper or foil). I would think it could look more realistic that way. Molded on straps happen to be a personal "pet peeve" and make modeling the figure without binoculars very difficult. Removing the straps is a pain.
    Sorry..I'll stop my rant now...lol.

SG, thanks for the pic, I also have seen that pic somewhere, but thank you.
I chose bino instead of gorget , but maybe I will build it someday (bikers, et)

    Ski, thanks for your complements.

Steve, yes you are right, and I'm agree with your idea. bino straps not always has to be molded on the body, I'll just include bino as an option and leave it blank for users.

Thanks Lew J, and Maki, glad you like my work. And yes, it will be released from CGS Military Figures @ UK for who wants a copy.

I shaped and cleaned up the master bare head, I re-casted 2 heads with helmet and cap from it.
As I took Steve's request, I removed binocular strap. And, re-sculpted right hand index finger in different position.

I read almost every post but I don't seem to find the scale of this incredible piece. Any help?

EDIT: I found myself the scale, 1/16 , it was in the title. Still what is the exact dimension of the Dobermann?

Changes are dialed in just right Kaz, print this sucker so we can all get a copy. I'm not seeing anything here "at all" that would make a show stopper, just am incredible set that would sell rather well! You can be proud of this set, very well done my friend, very well done!

    Cheers, Ski.

P.S. Please make sure we all know when it's available, I really don't want to miss this run.

If this is just the start of a new career as a sculptor only the sky will be the limit. Sorry that Tamiya did not support your efforts. Congratulations on this piece Kaz. I will gladly get myself a copy.

Rompy, Graham, Jarod, Steve, SG, Ski, and Marin, thanks a lot for your comments!

    Here's the ground work.

I decided to add a ruined brick wall, so I started from making the master brick, then casted by resin.

    Piled them up.

Hello Kaz, I was going to ask you how are you going to display this piece, now I know. Any more goodies planed with this set? I like the base and brick wall. It will look perfect with this set, creating a nice vignette. Excellent work Kaz. Regards, SG:happy:
