The first time I saw these figures from Tommys War I know it whas a must have for me.
So bought last year at Euro the Douglas and the rider.
Building the Douglas whas a pain in the a@#. When these two where finished at put them on a base bought at Ron Tamburinni. So I decided that it whas finished. But the longer I looked the more I whas convinced that there whas something missing. So at the internet shop www.what-ever.be I bought the Captain. The map whas made from a downloaded trenchmap 1914 and scaled down with Photoshop as whas the yellow coloring.
The only thing where I'm not satisfied with is the pictures. They still are to greenish. I can't fix it and made them 6 time's and spent the whole evening with PS but I cannot fix it. So sorry for that.
O yes, the numberplate's are missing the numbers; I screwed up the decals, so gonna buy some new at Euro.
Hope you can help me with critism that my further projects will be better.

Excellent scene, Marc! As far as the too green tint, sometimes it isn't the camera or the actual scene. Sometimes the photo is taken against a background that washes out the real colors/painted colors. It looks like you used a blue-ish background paper. Suggest trying it again with a light tan background to emphasize yellows, khaki and browns. Looks like most of the colors in the scene are in that range, right? Some people use a black background (I do a lot) because all black can do is decrease reflected light (I think!?). A black photo box is really easy to make with black foam boards. It's just an enclosed triangular thingie with one open side. Even a klutz like myself can make one in 10 minutes. I don't know about Belgium, but we can buy cheap foam boards in several solid colors at places like Target or Dick Blick.

Marc. After seen the kit of the motorcycle I can understand you. But you have finished. Really nice scene. The uniform colour looks a little bit shiny, but that´s a problem I have too

@ Ulrich: I think the shine is from the lights. Holding the figures out of the light there is no shine. But I can always use some dullcoat.

@ Dan: Thanks for the good words and advice. I tried it with a white background and its even worse. I have a blackbox (bought it in a photoshop) but I the pictures are not so good as without the box. The colors are indeed more to the greenkhaki.
Gonna try it with a black background again.

What lighting / bulbs are you using?
