    Hello Planeteers,
i just finished my first 6 fusiliers of the Gatenois Regiment, still have some more to come but i want ed to finish at least a section of this regiment.
I took some pictures of the section already glued to the ground of the diorama, for now it appears isolated on the background but i wanna leave enough space to add more troopers, still need to add the grenadiers and it will be a detachment of the Agenais grenadiers on the right hand side of the column but a little forward, i also left enogh space between this regiment and the Chasseurs of the Touraine in the forefront cause i know the mounted officers will have a place there when the manufacturer cast them in the near future.
    Best regards

Thanks don, always a pleasure having you on the thread.
For now it looks like a lonely group of brave troopers getting ready for action, but at the end I think it will be a great display.
    Cheers

As if I didn't have enough work with this guys , I decided to execute one spare trooper and create an officer in a different pose for this regiment.
I surgically cutted the legs of a trooper standing and cutted the legs of an officer walking, added the standing legs to that officer and was able to bend his arms so I could have him standing holding his sword with both hand horizontally.
Let me tell you that I was afraid that I was gonna screw this up but I am really thrill with the result. At the moment the manufacturer does not have an officer standing , but I know it's just a matter of time.
this officer will be looking at the fusiliers.
    Cheers

Great conversion. From the pictures, I would trim the neck so that the chin rests on the collar, but it just might be the perspective, and it may look fine to you.
Anyway, I hope Sean Judd and/or Doug is looking in on this, and they might be willing to follow your example with a few more "standing officer" types.

thanks don, yes, the head is not attached to the body yet, I did put a little bit of putty so it would stay there for the picture, but definitively I will make sure it looks right and appreciate that you are looking at those details.
