Hi,

I started this project recently and from beginning I wanted to make some terrain a little more complex than my usual. And one thing that I wanted to have is some birch trees. Here in Portugal there are none, that I know of, and I find then very nice...don't know why. So I got down and did them.
I ended up with this terrain, in an autumn ambient. It's ready for the figure which isn't even glued... just cleaned.
The will to paint has returned (finally!!)....after a little hiatus... just wasn't in the mood, so I hope to get started on this one soon!!!

They look just like the one,s I had in my back garden before I cut them down" wish I did not do it now .

Looking good Pedro . Note: the leaves of birch are very small in comparison to the tree ,this is one of the features that makes the tree so desirable for small gardens as they do not restrict a lot of light

Thank You Ron for the comment and the Note! I have leaves of several sizes here... even some of oak, all mixed up. Some look very small, so it may not look to unreal I think...

I spent some time around this, it's good to see that it's pleasing to you!
The trees are made of some, I think natural, bush that the local lady that sell flowers has... don't know the name, but it's great for this! Easy to cut, right proportions...
