here is my latest commission work. It is the 75MM release from Scale 75 of Jack the Ripper. He is cast in all white metal and comes complete with the cobblestone ground section, wall, street lantern and drain pipe. Casting was clean and very easy to fit and assemble. As always he is painted in Vallejo acrylics with Citadel and Andrea inks for the metallics.

Surely the blood would be over the sharp, not the blunt, edge of the blade?

very nice work, but for my taste I find the blue collar overpainted (to much contrast in the color)

the ascott is actually purple. I guess the lighting in the photo makes it lean to the blueish side. I like the contrast actually. Gives a little splash of color to a piece that is basically dark and drab.

Hi Ed. It will be at MFCA. I also have your carbon brushes. I gotta remember to bring them for you.
  16. And he seems to be before action, at least from the pose. So imho the blood is not in correspondence with the story. Beautiful work though.

Very nice work Dan. Hope your client is pleased with it. He should be.
Only thing I would do, is to make the cobble cement between the cobbles much darker. Just my personal taste.

    Regards

Thanks Ron. Client is very pleased. I may take your advice on the cobble grout. Does stand out a little more than I had planned.
