Completed Trident 40mm Regiment de Touraine chasseurs

    Hello folks,
    i finally finished ths chasseurs of Touraine regiment.
    The base is only for display purposes , the real base will be 30x 20 " and will have several of the regiments.
    This chasseurs wore painted as follow:
    the entire figure cleaned up and polished, then 2 slight coats of Army painter color/primer Skeleton bone.
    I tried the strong shade form army painter, the dipping method, allowed 24 hs to dried up.
    Coat:
    first light,Game color ( vallejo) Bonewhite , ratio 5/1
    second light, ivory, ratio 3/1 and final light same color 1/1.
    Pants and vest:
    basecoated on medium grey with a dab of german grey.
    First lights , stone grey diluted to 5/1
    second lights , citadel astronomican grey ratio of 3/1
    final lights , white ratio 1/1
    Shadows, game color sombre grey.
    Facings:
    basecoated with salmon pink and a dab of basic red.
    Lights , base plus salmon pink .
    list lights , base plus salmon pink plus white.
    shadows base plus basic red.

    Congratulations, first of all, on your perseverance! Very well done, from vision to execution! You know I love your "standard" size figures, but I really think these 40mm soldiers were made for you. The Trident range provides sufficient body and uniform styles for you to construct your big-scope dioramas without having to sell body organs to pay for them! Combine that with your ability to convert figures, and there is almost no limit to what you can do with these. Well done, Daniel. And as always, thanks for sharing your art with the rest of us!

    Thanks mate, i will continue my Soissonois and complete the 20 figs that are 80% done and add a detachment of grenadiers in bear fur caps :)

    The more i paint this minis the more i enjoy and learn, so i am really happy.
