I'm Marta, I'm from Poland but now I live in London (not very original I know;p). Till now I was painting mostly fantasy/sf miniatures, but I'm moving seriously into the historical zone now, so I hope I'll find here lots of inspiration, advices and much needed critique.

Thx for the warm welcome.
At the moment I paint mostly with acrylics, but I'm trying to learn how to work with oils. I did one bust with them already, but it was more like trial and lots of errors than proper painting.
I'll post some of my works this evening, but for now, If you're interested, you can check aby link from my signature.

I don't really have a favourite period, more like themes: vikings, crusaders, pirates, landsknechts and native americans. And busts of all kind. and I'd love to paint medieval court lady if I can find a miniature. I'm not really into the recent history.

Outside either the Carlton or the Southcliffe hotel on Saturday night where I'd been doing some [a lot of] drinking with friends, I was probably none too memorable
