Hi guys, I was lucky enough to win Diegos competition to identify his new figure.
Bill Sikes arrived safe and sound this morning (y)
The kit comes in a poly zip bag with a glossy photo and detailed description sheet based on Dickens character, all enclosed in a 'jiffy' bag.

A careful inspection of the parts in the following photos show a high level of detail and casting with no flaws.
The kit comes in 5 parts including a cobbled section of road.
Each part has a mould block to be removed and these along with a couple of fine mould lines have been well planned making the removal a piece of gateau.

Some discussion has taken place as to whether the face is that of Robert Newton or Oliver Reed... it's neither. What it is, is a superb interpretation by Diego of contemporary descriptions of Sikes like characters allied with a range of images including those of Reed and Newton.

Similarly Bulls eye is sculpted to represent a Bull Terrier of the early 19th century rather than the various versions we are now more used to.

I can't recommend this figure highly enough and can only hope sales encourage Diego to develop a series around this theme.
** Remember these like others in his range are limited editions of 100 so don't delay.

    Cheers

Lovely piece, sculpting looks superb and think I will get this, although not my usual subject the sculpt is so tempting and I think would be really enjoyable to paint.
    :)
Very nice, would be great to see a Nancy and Fagin of the same quality. Could really go to town on the scenery of a Victorian Street, painted in the forced Night light effect.
    Best wishes

Cheers Grant, I wanted to show that the casting blocks are well placed and in the case of the boots there's a staightforward cut without risking damage to the sole or heel.
    Cheers

I hope that you Enjoy it, Derek!
I think that yours is the number 1/100. The number is in the back of the photograph.
All these figures are limited edition to 100 figures, except the first one, that was 50 figures and is sold out now.

I don't normally buy production figures due to lack of time trying to market my own range. This I had to have, having been so impressed by Diego's sculpting and sbs. Mine arrived today, I concure with Del and highly recommend you buy one, its a corker! :)

Diego is so consistent with quality (both sculpting and casting) that it's hard to resist anything he puts out. Can't wait for this beauty to arrive!!!

Hi Diego,Just received your Bill Sykes figure this morning 2/100 and was blown away with the sculpting and casting.I've been waiting years for a character figure like this one as i can get bored with military figures. This makes a fantastic change and i don't hope you'll do well with this figure i know you will my friend. Thanks for making an old man happy.

I'm very happy to know that! And I'm quite old myself too. ;)
This figure has been most satisfying in many ways. So I have to try some more characters! :)
