Been watching Davie try to capture tartan in 120mm, looks like he has cracked it.
Wonderful work on a super figure from a great sculptor, well done Davie.

Unfortunately the sculpture doesn't resemble the painting that inspired it, it seems wooden compared to the painting; also the sculptor hasn't done any effort at all to make the face look like W D Stewart in the painting.
I had anticipated to buy this figure, because I like the subject, but I changed my mind.
Sorry for this blasphemy.
