Completed Officer Of The Soissonois Regiment, 1781 Completed!

    Hello planeteers,
    finally finished this Soissonois officer, took a lot of hours to finish some details and i am pleased with the outcome.
    Here are the mixes, all acrylics:

    Hat
    Base: german grey and a dab of medium flesh
    Lights; base + ochre
    shadows; base + black
    Flesh
    Vallejo panzer aces flesh base, shadow and lights

    coat
    Used the "white " from an article from Stephen Malia (el greco tutorials)
    Bae; japanese uniform,pale sand , ivory and a dab of black.
    Lights;base + ivory,last lights pure white
    Shadows; base + japanese uniform,last shadow added black
    crimson facings
    base; citadel Mechrited red,bacic red and magenta.
    lights;base + orange red,last lights used light flesh
    shadows, carroburg crimson (citadel)
    pants and vest
    Base; deck tan
    Lights; base + white
    shadows; base + stone grey,last shadows used german grey.

    Very nice paintwork, and the base is gonna be to small soon.
    I should go for the white a little more into the highlights with pure white.

    lol, i bet you are happy with the recipe book and growing larger i am sure.
    I try to make the garments different form eachother cause i imagine they wore form a different material and some wear out more than others.

    Really?? , i like a marked contrast but i was carefull not to go too white , perhaps on the next guy i will go a little more heavy on those .

    the idea is to have 4 panels of 12x12 , ihave the one you saw with the soissonois and another panel with the Gatinais regiment, still have 2 more squares that i am planning to add artillery ,an maybe some mounted troops,still figuring this out.
