    Hi guys
    Picked up some new wood of burr Elm and Yew.
    The pictures show it just off the machine in some basic sizes , the square burr will easily quarter into
    4 nice traditional cubes or maybe third into something suitable for Metal Models mounted fig with a traditional finish,sections showing a burr edge can also be altered for different set ups.
    the Yew is shown still with waney edge but can be supplied finished all round {PAR}

    They have all types of new screw technology these days Steve which will not split wood ,don't need a pilot hole and they also countersink themselves so the" wood wasting" chaps don't split anything , no malice that is just a term for a carpenter up here among rough ass Brickies like me :)

    My report read "Oh dear, he tries." Fortunately I was allowed to drop woodwork after the first year.

    Geoff Most or 98% of my class couldn't hammer a nail into a dumpling, I think most woodwork teachers lived a life of utter despair ,an apprentice of mine who turned out to be a very good brickie was asked are you any good at maths because you will never make anything with your hands, one of my primary teachers when she saw me playing football remarked ,poor Tamby you are just no good at anything:D

    I think the only words my wood work teacher said to me were "Drew get out of my class" :(
