The number i'll make still in the debate but originally i am thinking 16 including officer and standard bearer.
I have try the colors of the 1776 regulation on one of the grenadiers and i am not digging it,so i decided to paint the regiment in the 1779 regulation which is a white coat with sky blue facing on the lapels only, the cuffs and pockets are piped in the facing color.
I had to "shave " the horizontal pockets since the change of 1779 stated that the regiment with "white" metal buttons had vertical and the ones in yellow buttons had horizontal,of course being me i had to be historically accurate and double the work .
    Hope you guys like it.
    Best regards

Took a short breather after those last three  Right now, I'm taking a shot at sculpting from scratch  I'm starting with a non-military subject, if that works... I have a couple of unrealistic ideas brewing in the back of my head :wacky:

Nice!, i haven't try to sculpt from scratch yet , a little intimidated with proper scaling and how to create realistic creases on the cloth, but i will give it a try soon.
please post sbs pics of your project, would like to see it.
    Best regards

Breeding Daniel, breeding, as in reproducing not bleeding.
I've just aquired some nice little flats of Seven Years War French infantry so I'll have to check your mixes for shading white again. ;)
