    OK Folks

This is the last of my most recent figures. It is another Moz figure, this time a 75mm of a 17th Lancer from the Charge of the Light Brigade.
Lately I've been reading the Flashman series and the illustration on the cover of "Flashman at the Charge" acted as inspiration as I worked on this fig.
Again, painted with Vallejo acrylics. The stone post he's leaning on is a resin piece donated by Greg McE and the stones beneath it are scratchmade from Apoxie Putty. The plants and flowers were nicked from a floral arrangement the wife had out on the diningroom table:sneaky: The 17th Lancer badge on the base was picked up at an Army Surplus Store years ago. I know it wasn't being used yet in 1854 but it's my favourite British badge and I thought it would look cool on the figure's base.
    Comments and critiques are appreciated

Thank you so much Christos and Colin (y)

The only thing missing is the big toothy grin and a half naked trollop at his feet! Do you think Moz is a "Friend of Flashy"?

Thank you all very much for the compliments.
Having Old Flashy the rogue in my head made this really fun to paint... A workmate put me on to the Flashman Papers series in September and I've already read seven of them... giggling and chuckling the whole time. They're not for the easily offended... zero political correctness!!

    Good work Colin.
I am a bit of a stickler for getting the navy blue colour on British uniforms correct, often guys paint it with too lighter base colour, yours is spot on for me. All highlights and shadows look great.
    Well done Mate.

    Thanks Keith
It took two or three shots to finally get the tone I was looking for... Ended up with a mix of Dark Prussian Blue and Black (Vallejo acrylics)
