    some diferent pics I start to shade the metals, special the silver part, not finished yet, still very dark.

    Coming along nicely.
    Do you use Vallejo acrylics? If so, maybe you could share some of your mix recipes for the various whites you have come up with.
    Also, do you undercoat with black?

    Can't wait to see some more progress on this one...

    Colin for the whites I used the follow

    Base: Valejo

    Silvergrey + Deck tan+ German C Beige WWII, and very little Uniforme inglês

    Shade: Sonja Jo acrylics

    French blue

    paynes grey

    2 shadow

    base + Iraquian sand (very diluted)

    Highlights

    Base + Silvergrey + Offwhite

    2 Highlight

    Off white

    Gellso, for the metals I used

    Gold ink + Cadminiun Red hue and Mars black (oils)

    Very nice, Debrito.
    I would only suggest to change the title of the thread: there were no carabiniers in the Garde Imperiale, as far as I know.
    But a great paintwork nevertheless!
