    Hi to all!
I'm pleased to show you my current efforts on this bust..Still a lot of work to do. Some modificacions done: Changed the method of carrying the ice axe and removed the wood poking on the top of it. Also addded a neck closure flap on the collar. ( Many thanks to Heeresberführer's great advices)

    Comments and criticisms welcome!!:)

    Grüß Di' Bergkamerad Gerard,

Outstanding work! Your addition of the neck flap, modifying the ice axe head and placing it in the correct potion add to the authenticity of the figure!

Beautiful brushwork Gerard! This mountain trooper is definitely coming around nicely (y)! Are you going to add the cigarette? Right now he looks as though he's got a plug of chewing tobacco in his mouth :D!

Very nice. The binos are especially eye catching. No pun intended.

Not chewing tobacco, he's doing an impression of Don Corleone wearing cotton in his cheek..:ROFLMAO:..Kidding, still missing the cigarette and the cleaning rod of hist Kar98

Thanks Carlos, I usually paint with a little of Vallejo glaze medium. Gives me time enough to mix the paint, no acrilic retarders needed.
