Hello planeteers,
here's the latest figure on my workbench , an officer of the Saintonge regiment to be added to the main marching body of troops already attached to the diorama base.
I will paint him in the 1776 rather than the new (1779) regulation uniform since a great part of this regiment was still wearing the 1776 regulation coat that was a white coat ,sky blue collar and "Aurore" lapels and cuffs.
This figure will be a grenadier officer leading one of the columns of grenadiers marching along with fusiliers.
The body of the figure is from Modeles et allures as usual, the head is from JMD which i added mustache with green stuff, the legs are form MINIWELT and the tricorne hat is my own creation.

Good work, Daniel. I think you have improved quite your skill sculpting.
I like the hat, cockade, face and moustache. The result is very fine and balanced.

Lots of painting.
I am almost done with the Art girona chasseur of saint domingue,just need to apply the flat clear cote and fix the terraing,so probably a couple days to show that one up .

Thanks Edu, i am trying to build some "courage" on sculpting a little bit more, not too sure of my capabilities yet but one piece that i will probably try is a senior staff officer from scratch ,i have a JMD mannequin and it will be of the same size of this figures, maybe i will sculpt Rochambeau , but i have to think about that.
