    Hello Planeteers,
i have made some progress on this chasseur.
I added a little bit of magic sculpt on the right lower side of the coat, gave it a little bit more "wide coat" effect ,added a litle bit on the right side of the lapel to give a more protruding effect on the coat .
I primed the figure using floquil lite grey multi-surface primer.
While leaving the head and tricorne hat to dry up more time i decided to basecoated the pants using Vallejo acrylics deck tan as i normally do with pants and vest on my figures.
The Gaiters were basecoated using a last minute mix i tried : one drop of Panzer Aces German winter white and a dab of vallejo cold grey, this way it will be a difference between white garments.
Still lot of work to do but i enjoying it every minute :).
    Cheers

    Cool!
Do you ever leave the work bench? You've churned out four or five and I'm still grinding through the Chasseur.
I dig the attention to detail you have with your pieces... Sometimes it's a slight change but you take the time to do the work and it makes a difference in the finished product, for sure.

    Keep on keeping on

Thanks for your kind words Colin.
To be honest with you, on my free time i always look for illustrations and read about details on this uniforms, apart from being a Hobby is a passion for history and i try to be as accurate on details as i can be .
I am pretty happy with the progress on this chasseur ,still nned the hardes part of this figure that is "building" the collar since the original head came with the collar and hat for the Carabinier.
It's a little conversion, not as big as the Chasseur of the Dillon Regiment i did but still, challenging and entertaining.
Hope to see one of your figures soon.
    Cheers

Ah...Corona bber with lime and a little bit of salt sounds good in this Florida weather ,but my favorite is a good glass of
    Argentinian Malbec ;)

Yesterday i've made some progress on this brave chasseur.
I basecoated the tricorne hat by using a simple mix of Vallejo German grey and a dab of medium flesh .
The plume is basecoated using Vallejo Panzer aces German winter camo White plus a dab of cold grey.
Tip of the Plume i basecoated with a mix of vallejo Deep yellow and a dab of Vallejo Game color litchen purple.
I grew some courage and "built" the collar using Magic sculpt ,to me this part of the uniform is critical cause i have a certain shape in mind and since the original head came with the collar i didn't wanna screwed up the whole uniform making a Crappy collar,so i can say that i spent a couple of hours shaping it and i am really happy with the shape.
I also basecoated the collar but this time i tried deep yellow with a dab of flat brown just to give it a little different shade of yellow from the Plume.
i hope you guys like it.
    Cheers
