I've looked at and pondered this Verlinden bust for many years, wondering it was an actual actually used. Well once a gain apost answered by Dan Morton has led to the promised land.

Afterlooking through the Osprey books and several pictures sent by Mr.Morton.I found used for .29 cents and 3.95 shipping a book title, "Dominating the Enemy"By Anthony Saunders. This a short history with great pictures of items used in the Great War 1914-18 .The name Dayfield was derived from the 2 inventors, one a female and producted by several companies in 1915-1917.A padded jacket held armor plates nad it had various attachements to cover other areas .Though not a thing was mention of the hood worn by the figure. Brodie helmet, and a vicious looking club accessorize the trench raider in you

Painted in Vallejo and grimed up with humbrols, weathering powders, and matte and gloss mediums

Well not wanting to scrape away the moulded on insignia, I looked through the Osprey, "Britsh Battle Insignia(1)
1914-18 and found that the battalions in the37th Division wo
re discs in different colors. So since the box art showed yellow and the 37th had a yellow, there you go.as for the yellow disc on the back of the Brodie, that is conjectuer on my part, but thought raiding at night? yellow might show a little,
and thanks for the comments sirs
