Started back on this with the helmet cover...



a. Base coated with AV Burnt Umber and then sprayed with AV Stone Grey as a highlight.
b. Blobs of GW Catachan Green
c. Smaller blobs of AV WW2 German Camo Bright Green.
d. Blobs of AV Olive Drab.
e. High lights with AV Stone Grey and added a bit of cloth texture.
f. Shadows hardened with GW Gryphon Sepia Wash .
g. re highligh.
h.onto head to check balance and further shading.
i.Metal clips painted

Many thanks for all the replies


Despite life's curve balls making a mockery of any kind of order in my world I have managed to get the camo overalls done.

I tried freehanding the design and it was terrible so over sprayed it all and started again

I made a simple paper template of the design and used the yellow blobs as a guide to map out the pattern...

So colours used are ...

Green base AV Field Grey WW2.
Brown base AV Burnt Umber and AV Flat Earth 1:1
Yellow base AV Green Ochre

I used AV Smoke to do the shadows and then added AV Light Flesh at 1:1 with the base colours for highlights.

At this stage I need to do work on the yellow blobs and just tighten everything up.

I am staying well away from any camo figures. All beyond me. Well done

I'm reliably informed that this piece will cease production at the end of the month as Stuart has other projects to sort out and the clock is now ticking for a Major event So get em while they're hot LOL!

Got a bit of time in and did the tunic and collar tabs, which still needs a bit more work
