Isn't this not your worst nightmare????
Is it ever ended. When I think you are there, you need to go almost over it again.
If it whas me, I think I was escorted with guys in a white coat to the clinic many moons ago.

The Soprano's is so funny Adrian, I believe my boss has a good taste.
I just watched two sequals and thought it was very good :)

I am not that easy content and believe I have to let him rest for a while.
The thing with likeness is...it's him or not.
Think the volume is ok but some transitions need to be stressed. Hard to see on 2D pictures and would almost say this is experience.

Hehehe, I was thinking the same thing...but then figured it out...I think.
When You are self thought sculptor You have to learn from Your own mistakes and that is exactly what I do, and what Rene does. But there is a BIG difference: I make a mistake, bake the thing and go to next one (to do some more mistakes ;) ).
Rene redoes the SAME thing over and over until it's perferct. I do not think that this is wrong aproach, just different one ;)
In the end I have shelf full of garbage, stuff that "failed" to materialize my ideas, and Rene has only three busts, but they are all great ! I can even say that Rene's approach is better ;)

I am not afraid of difficulties, complications Darko. The white coat escort guy as Marc pictured is someone's worst nightmare and I 'm proud to tell the world I have been in some kind of situation in my adolescence.
For creators I think it's important to know all the different aspects in various dephts of themselves so they can be valued properly.
I know my limitations, they are not on my sculptingpath however. I started studying chess when I was younger and got used to concentrating for hours, since I was given a couple of hours on the chessclock.
In my line of work as illustrator I sometimes meet grandmasters. I realize we have the love for the game in common with a little difference...the game I play at a club that would step aside from theory at move .36 and its evolvement would only be a sidethought in a flash of a second for them.
I still love the game but considering my persistance don't want to end like the Great Bobby Fischer.

I love music, especially Bach's music. I also started studying classical guitar and at that time, when I didn't read any sheetmusic I just marked each note with a pencil in Bach's Bourree so the recognition of this piece took place motoricly.
Later on I studied a fugue that would take 6 minutes when performed, for ten years I studied little partitions of the partiture and now it's in my head. Riped motoricly but the rest of my life working on the separate voices, ornaments in it. However, I don't want to end up like the Great Glenn Gould.

I think I am used to thinking from images that already emerge finished in my head and throwing away stuff is not in my dictionary. Every little step I make is my way of contributing to this image, a lot of cause and effect.
Another limitation could be the progression I notice in my works, I like to make people happy with a casting but I am that critical, when the cast would be 1 year ago and I notice some flaws....
That's why I take my time nowadays, even work on 4 busts at the time.
There is no hurry. However, I like to work efficiently, I must reckon a whole night of working can sometimes be swept away in a 5 minute glance in the morning.

My goal is to find some balance in that. Till that time I like to post sequels and also have a 2d view of my product for myself.
I indeed have a small vitrine, I gave away my large one and like to work 'clean'. Good communication with several fenomanal sculptors around here is something I am very grateful for.
