    So far so good.
Very effective whites and a unique shade of red.
Look forward to seeing this completed. BTW are you purposefully teasing by leaving out pics of the head? Curiosity is killing me.
    Is this 75mm?

This figure looks familiar, i believe is from Durendal (France), and i think the scale is 54mm but this manufacturer made slightly bigger, more like a 60mm as for few of the French brands.

    Thanks for the comments,
Daniel; yes the red is cad red medium mixed with som alizarin crimson. The kit is a durendal and they run alittle larger than 54mm.
Colin; thanks, Im trying someting new(for me anyway) I start the head when the body is close to becoming finished. Provided its not attached. Its what the calls a 54mm but its alittle larger, like 60-65.
    Thanks Xenofon, will do .
I should be posting further progession later tonight after a few beers.

I suspected some Alizarin crimson,i am painting a regiment and using vallejo acrylics and andrea, but i find them rather a little "dull red" so i add a little bit od Alizarin crimson to "brightem up".
can't wait to see more progress pics :)
