Any Generic Female Mannequins in 1/24 scale?

    Hello all,
I have been looking for a set of Preiser 1/24 scale Eve female figures with no luck. I have an auto vignette I want to make that needs a girl. Does anyone make a female mannequin in 1/24 or 70-75mm scale that might be a suitable starting point? Yes, I could sculpt a figure from scratch and it would probably be a much more rewarding experience, but I want to finish this model this year :)

    Thanks!

The Preiser figs are the first thing I thought of too. A search might work better if you could look in German sites but I know they're available from one or two UK suppliers as I've bought from them once or twice.

Model number for the Eve set is 58001 in case that helps.

The Military Miniatures Warehouse has a range of manequins on offer that might suite. Manufactured by Lost Battalion. www.milminwh.com/mannequins.htm

    Hello Joseph
I suggest looking at motorheadminiatures.net site for 1/24 figures of girls. There is lots to choose from or would be conversionalable to your needs. There is also jimmyflintstone figures but caution on casting quality and "cheesyness".
    Hope this helps, Cheers Eh!

Thank you all for the suggestions. This Preiser Eve set is out of stock at every online retailer I have contacted, but some of them think they will be restocked sometime this year. I'm sure there is a copy of the kit on the shelf of some little obscure shop... somewhere! If I want to move forward with this project, I will have to make the figure from scratch. I have some 1/24 female heads in an old Tamiya "Campus Friends" set I can use. I have the equipment to make photoetched brass parts, so I will make a nicely-proportioned brass armature for the figure and then get to work on it with some Aves.

    Hello Joseph Osborn
When you wrote " I'm sure there is a copy of the kit on the shelf of some some obscure shop...somewhere!
I have found that somewhere........Please contact Greg Scherer, Pacific Rim Hobby, prhobby@olypen.com the kit is known as PRE58001 1:24 "EVE" $27.88 US funds.
I live in Victoria BC, Canada and Pacific Rim Hobby shop is located in a small town by the name of Port Angeles, Washington State, USA, about 20 kilometers south of me across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
This is where your "EVE" kit is.
I will let you get touch with them. Hope this helps your project.
    Cheers Eh! Gord

Hi all, been a while, but I just wanted to show that I am indeed working on this project :) The female figure is made up of various bits from the 1/24 Preiser Eve set that Gordon found in Washington state. Actually, I'm using resin copies of bits from that Preiser set, since the actual plastic in the set is worth its weight in gold.

The girl will have more clothes in the final version :D I'm getting the parts all lined up so that her hands and feet will land in the right places when she, the car, and the base are completed.

    Hello Joseph,
Thanks for the update on your project which I read today (Monday) before going out for a walk. A few blocks away and I am browsing in Salvation Army Thrift shop toy section, I find a clear plastic bag with Preiser 1/24 scale unpainted figures. $9.99 cdn. I could not believe this !! Strange coincidence or what?
At home, I count 7 female and 9 male figures, dressed in 60's, 70,s mode. (most are in multiple). The detail is not as crisp as the "Eve" set and I think they are pantographed up from Preiser's HO gauge figures. Cheers Eh !
