    Hi Folks
This is my latest piece for one of my collectors, a 1/9th scale bust from Pegaso Models of General H.W.Guderian. Was a very nice piece to work on, clean cast and only a few parts.

The bust is painted entirely in acrylics using Reaper triad , Vallejo and Citadel paints, quite pleased with the results.
Hope you like it, any comments good or bad welcome.

    Cheers
    Tommi

Tommi, do you mind if i make a historical observation?

If you do, there is no problem, i do not want to be undelicate or impolite.

Good work. The reddish color in the lower part of his eyes, gives to him a tired and old look. I think you have improve your skin tones.( Not so pale and richest in nuances this time).

Thank you for the praise. I think that in a forum where the only mean of communication is the written word, among people in the majority strange to one another (even with common interests, i´ve never had a beer with any of you, for example), misinterpretation is a easy path to confusion and problems. :)

About your paintwok, stunning as always. I liked a lot of the greenish tone of feldgrau you did; it goes well with an "old guard" like Guderian.

But the ribbon on the second buttonhole is wrong.

Since Guderian recieved both classes of the Iron Cross in the First World War, his ribbon with clasp (indicating the second award) should be in black and white, like the Imperial Iron Cross previously recieved.

The ribbon and clasp would be like this:

Here, another photo, showing the Iron Cross 1st class with the WW2 award clasp:

I hope you don´t mind me making this observation; i mean it to be constructive (y) , since this is part of my job and my passion.

    All the best

Tommi, you make me jealous,:D you have in your shelf an entire army of German figures.(y)
Be careful with the ammunition belt of LB miniatures Fallschirmjäger, they breake down easily.:cautious:
