Hi guy's, has been awhile since posting anything, but have been busy fly fishing. This is Carl Reids 1/9 Cherokee bust which is very much still a WIP, and since taking pics I have started re sculpting left hand/blanket area as I am not happy with it as it was. Lots of work to do on face and clothing as well as musket. took him to our local figure evening here in Christchurch and got some helpful advice and positive comments, especially from John Belcher who is currently painting the same bust. This really is beneficial for me to have John in our small group of figure modellers. Comments most welcome. Les

Warpaint looks scary on this f'sure.

Nice work with the musket too, did Andy help you with this?

BTW am trying my hand at some sculpting this week.
Not sure where that will end up...

Mike, thanks for the positive comments. John and I are enjoying this bust for sure, It's a great help having John around the road from me. The musket is a total scratch from wood and brass by myself, Andy a little busy to help apart from some welcome advice. cheers Les
