    Hello planeteers!,
here's the next figure on my workbench.
As usual, the body and legs are from Modeles et Allures , head is from JMD, the grenadier busby is from Historex, modified with Procreate, the busby plate with the royal cypher is from Historex.
As you can see,i modified the uniform to adhere to the 1779 Reglement des uniformes, adding collar, modded the vest and shaved the turnbacks to make it a little narrow than the 1767's original shape from the box.
Brief History of the Regiment from Uniforms of the American revolution :

The Soissonnais Regiment left France in April, 1780 as part of the Comte de Rochambeau's army. Prior to leaving for America, the regiment was issued with the new regulation uniform decreed in 1779, which was white with crimson facings.
Commanded by Comte de Saint Mai DSC03069.JPG DSC03062.JPG DSC03064.JPG DSC03066.JPG DSC03067.JPG DSC03065.JPG me. Second in command was Vicomte de Noailles, brother-in-law to Lafayette. One of the four line regiments that arrived at Newport with Rochambeau in 1780 and participated in Yorktown campaign (September-October 1781). Vicomte de Noailles led the 16 Oct charge that recaptured two French redoubts

I don't usually comment on figures while they are in their infancy of completion, but this is going to be a real winner. Nice job.
