Jon Smith Officer 005.JPG Hi Folks,
Jon Smith is to produce this latter in the year. It's a 120mm figure of a German officer 'Frontswchwein' or front line veteran from 1917-1918. The sculpt is based on an actual photo from immediately behind Front line.

These first pics are of the primed figure. The fir of parts was so good it practically snapped together.

    Cheers David

Wow! The fleshtones are really impressive! The helmet weathering is exceptionally well done - very realistic!!

I quite like the scarf, I think it contrasts well against the smooth face.
    Excellent start,

Interesting to see him armed with a revolver and not an automatic pistol.

    Mike,
It's a signal flare pistol, given to those in charge eg. the start of a barrage etc.;)
