Sorry ............ really don't like this "new improved" version at all.

To quote the old adage: If it aint broken, why fix it? Change for change's sake.

Thanks, I know change is hard at times, it was broke for a long time on the admin side of it and I was tired of patching and maintaining it. vB3 was no longer supported and offered no new feature support for the past three years. :(

I figured it out. It was on my side issue. It seems to work now. My browser IE 8 remembers two addresses in the history list: http://www.planetfigure.com// and http://www.planetfigure.com/ The first one with two backslashes at the end causes the issue.

Have to agree with Edorta, was much easier to see what's going on with the old set up. I'm completely lost!:cautious:

The change looks good, but it will take some time to get used to it. The thing I'm really missing are diferrent colored planetfigure logos on forums homepage indicating if that particular forum has any new posts since my last visit.

Its always hard for "us" old user to learn a new one, but why not.
Everything is changing. When i look in my grey army I find also very old figures with small details.
When I look to newer one I wonder what is happend into the last years.
Thats to the forums too. Never stopp to learn new things.
    I missed the v-bench direct.

    Hi Gordy,

Thanks for all your hard work and time for us all to enjoy. I'm sure things will evolve and get sorted but Rome wasnt built in a day and I can imagine it was no mean feat.

I like it and am so glad its back.

    Many thanks

Which RSS link are you using ?
On first visit, be default all the forums are unread (the icon is bold) then click on the "Mark all forums read" link in the Nav bar and they will be dim until new posts have shown up. :)

For those unhappy with the grey theme, click at the bottom left and you will see the default theme, a little more bright. =)
