Keeping a 15yr old PROMISE to the Best Sergeant I've ever had in my 25yrs as a boy in blue I've embarked on this project :)

Making a Malta Police Sergeant from this Verlinden offering. It was sent to me by my great American buddy/brother... Joe Hudson with an extra head sans eye patch ;)

I'm really enjoying this one as it will fill a 15yr old promise/itch to one of the best of them all from the "Old Guard" :)

The caption will read "hands, out of pockets!" a phrase this Sarge used to point out a lot to one of my senior mates in the same shift :)
Well I can affectionately say now "Those were the days"

Anyway, I will post more pics asa I get some more conversion work done :)

Some minor alterations to my "hastey/pre meditated short cuts" :(

Instead of trying to eat my way around the resin pants (as I tried to do in the begining) I opted for the legs wire armeture, after pulling the boots out of the resin pants as you can see :)

Legs were roughly "fleshed up" with MS to strenghten & solidify the armeture for things to come.....the pants :)

Also reworked the cap & badge which was a bit on the big size (it is still but quite negligible) & now awaiting the new chin strap :)

Hair & moustache also in place where I fleshed the cheeks just a bit before, for a more "Maltese" look :)

Arms are also repositioned, where I used the lower part on the right arm while I reworked the upper part. The left arm was reworked completely on the usual wire armeture while using a hand from my spares box, which is also being "addressed" since the hand was "holding" something & is sitting uncomfortabley IMHO so palm & fingers will be anew soon.

You bet we need that buddy (y)

Thanks to all of you or looking & above all for your kind comments, much appreciated

After I tweak a bit here & there on the hands, & tackling the blue shirt collar & black tie, its all down to a black uniform, so I'm opting for an airbrushed job after I mask off where appropriate :cautious:

Hi Brian & thanks for your kind comments (y)

Yes yes I was in the same Malta Police Corps as Steve was, or rather we used to wear the same type of uniform as the sizes were different :ROFLMAO:
