    Been so busy with the 100mm paint brushes and paint rollers I nearly missed this one,
    Splendid painting Eddy, Carl Reid stuff seems to have a fluidity to it, perhaps its just that little lean to the side that makes the difference. :rolleyes:

    A beautifully painted figure except for one majior flaw, the highlighting is not only excessive on the face -- is he looking directly into the sun? -- it makes the material of the woolen battle blouse look like nothing that those of us who wore them over the years ever saw. Also, in such bright light, the highpoints of the pipe rings should be gleaning like diamonds. They are not.
    Well, every Christmas needs a Grinch!

    It's very much appreciated!

    Kevin: for the uniform I used mostly Burned Umber highlighte with a little of ochre, and more highlighted with Naples Yellow, shadows with Burned Umber, Brown Madder and for the darkest Sepia.
