The bust is an excellent portrait of the famous German General, Ebroin has an excellent gift to represent in scale personalities with great accuracy.
The 75mm figure is also well sculpted and the theme is a surprise, except the name of the tribe is another one ancient germanic warrior fighting against Rome.

Excellent painting of the Guderian bust, this has to be my favorite after seeing Marks version at Telford over the weekend. Ebroin thanks for posting, it's always great to compare the distinctly different painting styles and congratulations on a superb sculpt. I can now sleep at night knowing who the sculptor is. :)(y)

    hmmmmmm
compare the correct painted bust from Mr Benett with the box art and you will find at least three flaws........
not to accept on box art.lots will follow it and paint their bust with the same flaws.

Superb sculpting by ebroin on the Guderian bust, picked this up at euro as well.

I think Marks version is better than the boxart .

    dear mr peart
calm down no need to show some strange attitudes.your message has arrived but does not affect me to much
always an nearly hysteric attitude.if you can stand only people which give uhhhh ahhhhhhhh and ohhhhhhhhhs your choice.
if you use your little eyes you will find the flaws yourself.
    just try:eek:

I'm sorry but the ribbon in box art is correct. Guderian received "The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves" (Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit Eichenlaub). The ribbon of the medal (2nd class and Knight's Cross) was different from the earlier Iron Crosses in that the color red was used in addition to the traditional black and white (black and white were the colours of Prussia, while black, white, and red were the colors of Germany). Marks version is not correct.

As he was Prussian, I though he would have worn the Prussian version.
    But I'm normally wrong,
