perhaps it's only my opinion, but do you think, since he fought in the sunny lands, he is too pale?
I like the idea of the shield.

Great job Les, you just get better with every bust, keep 'em coming mate!

Especially like the composition of the colours, recommend you try some of your well developed armour weathering techniques on the clothing. Would love to see some marmite tested maybe, am sure the rest of us can learn more from your experiments

Mike used marmite technique on helmet, and apprehensive on weathering clothing, may take a few more figures/bust's to get into the swing. cheers Les
