Darko i have to disagree with you.
The Musculus Sternocleidomastoidius isn't not seen into the neckregion until the head is elevated (bending the head backwards).
Another function of the M. ST.Cl. Mast. is bending the head downwards with a downwards turn to the side. Another function is assist the breathing musculatuur
So you never gonna see the V shape of these muscles untill the head is bended backwards. In this bust it isn't the case, so the neck is good sculpted.

    Marc, kalm an :)
    you are also right.

Darko is attending me to something general for , which he knows I haven't been paying any attention to too much.
He also attends the shape of the neck, which after being altered is more V- shaped downwards which I thank him for.

I am altering now Marc and must say.....looks better....

Marc refers to his work as fysionist and was afraid that things that were right in his opinion were altered wrongly.
This ain't gonna happen and I always have checks with my own image in the mirror.
On the other hand, Darko provides a picture I was looking for and is in my dangerous hands, for the perfectionism I strive for.

mayby Darko likes your comment too, he's also looking for best anatomics.

hey man, need to go on!

I'm refereing the very tips of the muscles - clearly visible on the sculpt and marked with red line, and in my opinion it should be closer to the green line shape.
That part of "V" shape should be always visible, but I'm not an expert, I might be wrong...

    Darko,
I believe that you mean the clavicula. That is more into the greenarea then the muscle sternocleidomastoideus.
This muscle is follow this way:
origo: one part from sternum and the other part from clavicul.
insertion: processus mastoideus and linea nuchea superior....
the processus mastoideus is a small point at the underside of the os temporale (sleepbone)
The linea nuchea superior is a small line connective tissue at the underside of the skull.
So my conclusion is that your green line isn't the Muscle.
The start from the muscle is about where the green line stop's (direction collar)

You are the expert, so if You say this is the case - I believe it (man, I can't even pronounce the name of that muscle) ;)
I hope Rene understands what I ment to say, and I'm sure he'll find a way to make it perferct as the rest of the sculpt is...

well, I am sure of one thing.

James never would have spent any thought about eventual idiots like me that analysed his whereabouts that much after his passing away.

if he were.....I guess he would say..'let it be a good one.'

    soon some pics.

minor detail, just like the pockets.
first the shape that makes Steiner recognizable.

oftenly underestimated when a charicature is drawn of somebody.
The bodylanguage also goes along with the looks.

I tried to stress Coburns skinnyness, edgyness.
    Though he is wide.
you will see that the suspenders will drop in a more natural way.

first pics were not bad but not contributing to likeness.

    Rene,
How far will you go.......it seems that its not ending with perfection.
Looks that you will go for the full 200 % perfection.
Less wil not do it for you.
    Anyway, perfection lead to magic.
