This is my next project, "Pirate c1700", sculptor is Gary Dombrowski. Scale is 150mm.

Comparing the size with EuroMilitaire 2011 Gold medal masterpiece, "Pirate of Madagascar", of course you all may know, painted by well-known painting machine, Dimitrios Kotronias.
I was strongly inspired by this Dimitrios' work and I think he needs buddy pirate so I started painting this. :)

Thanks a lot for your nice comments, Oleg, Meizi, Carl B, Dimitrios, Alex, Eduardo, Philippe, Ronald, Carl S, Marc, Gary, and IronMike!

You're welcome! thanks a million my friend.

thanks Dimitrios work is too great and almost impossible for me to catch up with. I will to bring it to as much closer level as possible.
    Yes I experiment...all the time! :)

I'm glad to have such a nice comment from who sculpted this wonderful bust. I was watching this bust from the pre-production status on your blog and really love this. It has strong character.

Now I'm wondering about colorings such as whether I paint the head skarf red with white dots or simple red...dark blue jacket or black jacket...black hat or dark brown hat...these kind of things.

    Stay tuned...patiently. :)

Thank you very much for your comments william, Spyros, David, Andrew, and Rob!

Yes you're right. Mine is released from Michael Roberts Ltd, sculpted by Gary Dombrowski. I think the one from Warriors you finished and I found the info that is sculpted by John Rosengrant. I think the reason why they look similar is because they are both inspired by the same Pyle's picture. Big difference between them is scale, Warriors version is 1/9(200mm) and MichaelRoberts Ltd version is 150mm(almost 1/12).

Okay, here's the progress. Almost finishing but I think I need some fixes a little bit more. Please feel free to let me what you think, your suggestion, critiques or anything. I want to hear your opinions or requests to make it better.
