    There were some great pieces at the show. Thanks for the pictures. It was my first trip to Chicago so I was surprised at the huge amount of entries. I'm already making plans for next year!

    The Hindenburg was a very large box dio- you actually sat in a chair -like in a booth and were looking over the shoulders of the guys in the control tower looking at the blimp burning. Lewis had sound recorded that was the announcers voice of the event. The figures were larger scale- 200mm or so, with a forced perspective of the airfield. The figures on the airfield were 20 mm or so- very cool.

    Great show! After attending for 15 years and never entering, just a sidelines spectator, it was rewarding on many levels to be involved as a participant! Saw the entries through new eyes, and the workshop pushed me to a new level. Great HOBBY! Great people! Only gripe is the cost of the figures - but still a hell of a lot less expensive than golf!

    I came home with a Bronze for the QVR..
