    Hey Steve,

awesome vignette ! I really like how the position of the figures work together and all the details like the garbage and everything. A really nice little scene with much "life" in it. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
    Mike.

Mike, Brian, Kempie and Pava, Thx Guys! Thx for the kind words and glad yall like it. Yes, I was trying to get the TV or reporter angle in the planning phase attempting as dynamic a showing as possible. I'm pretty happy with it and thanks for commenting guys.

    Hi Ski mate,
That piece is dynamic, has drama, action, tension, great comprehension and attention to detail, you certainly are a dio machine. I would photograph that with an Afgan street background it would look ace.(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

Thx for the kind words Richie, and you are spot on with a better backdrop. I was intending to shoot with a slightly yellowish colored sheet, (maybe a water colored fade from orange to pale yellow at the bottom), but a photo dropped in back with Photoshop would work too. Haven't been able to figure out how guys are getting such decent backdrops for the photo bench and not have them shine in the camera, let alone get one big enough. I'll have to work on that one. Thx for the great idea Richie.(y)

    Carl, Ron, Steve and Jeff,

Thx greatly for the compliments Guys. I'm glad yall like it and thx for watching as it went along. I recon I'm stuck on small vignettes with large figs, makes for a great impactful photo session.

    Cheers, Ski.:D

P.S. Stevo, you'll like this pic, as per Mums orders, it's next on the bench. No ifs, ands, or buts about it, she has laid down the law, HA!:thumb down::unsure::(:whistle:

Brilliant looking scene Steve. Must look doubly impressive in real life at this scale. Having lived at Ft Drum briefly I have a particular bias for the 10th Mtn. Love it. (y)

    Tom and Dave,

Thx for the compliment Guys, I appreciate that.

I wasn't over there Tom, but I researched and found great reference pics and read several books on the battles, latest one from Bing West, "The Wrong War". Although Bing wrote a telling book I prefer the books coming from the Grunts and GI's personal accounts, they put you in their lap and take you along. Those kind of books I find best for me to translate onto the base the mood of the scene. Like "Phase Line Green" by Nick Warr for my "Hue City" dio, and many others, you just can't beat the personal accounts for depth and accuracy. Full and total immersion is how I like to work my dios, seems to be working great so far.

Thx for watching Guys. Cheers, Ski. :D

P.S. Dave, there's a lot of flesh tone there, lots of work to do!
