I bought this figure back in 2009,and put it in storage along with a bunch of other figures and paints.
I am a fan of the 18th century uniforms, but being my native Country Argentina i could not resist to let this one pass.
My respect to all those brave Argentiniand and Brits who served during that war.

The details on the figure are awesome, very nice casting and you know if it is from Maurice Corry is GOOD!
I heard some comments regarding the FAL,one of them said it was not accurate ,well...i served in the Argentina Armada from '87 to '92 and we used to practice with this FAL and looks prety accurate to me.
Now,one detail on the figure i am trying to confirm, his rank.
As far as i remember it resemble more like the Army than the Navy, but that is something i will confirm once i am 100% sure.

Here's some link that might be useful to those who look to see the Argentine FAL (which is manufactured locally in Argentina by FM Fabricaciones Militares) and some images of uniforms.

Maurice,i am honored that you visited this thread.
    The FAL is absolutelly accurate.
I copy this link of the rank insignia so we could verify the rank.
in combat operations the rank insignia would be black on a green background for "low visibility purpose".

By the way,i really like your last figure, the British para.
I am itching to buy it and paint tht camo on the smoke.
to me, the 80's is one of the best camo's ever to be in use by the British Arm forces.
I am not digging the newer versions.
    Just my humble opinion
