    Hi all!
This is my new little dio "Short Sleep". I used Stalingrad figures (my sculpt), Zvezda mortars, tempera paints, MIG pigments, flax and bristle for grass.
I was inspired of wartime photo and try show autumn spirit.

    Outstanding work!!
Hits all of the attributes of a great diorama - a one-glance scene; a title that conveys the storyline; poses which demonstrate the story; appropriate scenery/context; and outstanding workmanship. The addition of the picture enhances the impact of the miniature when viewed on the table.
The colors are also in harmony - nothing out of place to distract the eye.
Congratulations, Alexander, on an excellent example of miniature art.
    Best regards, Don

Agree with what everyone else has said, plus your photography of the it just adds to that dreary, dark feel of the scene. EXCELLENT!

This truly is some brilliant work Alexander! I love how you depict the exhaustion of the soldiers and the autumn atmosphere. Just brilliant.

Let me take the opportunity to congratulate you on your other Stalingrad sculpts. They have something different! (y)(y)

    Cheers,

    Alexander, congratulations. . .

Oh my, this is such fine work, and in such a small scale. Your composition
and your terrain is so outstanding.

For me, another example of how this hobby can be raised to an art form.

Congratulations, Alexander! Oh yes, and the photographs are beautiful,
as they really create the atmosphere, and set the scene to display your
    beautiful craftsmenship.(y)(y)
